Pollinators: Both long-tongued and short-tongued bees (honey bees, little carpenter bees, Halictid bees, plasterer bee, and Andrenid bees), Sphecid and Vespid wasps, flies, butterflies, moths, and beetles.

Other Information: One of the shortest species of goldenrod, will grow in a difficult spot where little else will grow. The Eastern Goldfinch eats its seeds.
