Spreads via seeds and division of large clumps of plants in early Spring or late Fall.

Pollinators: Flowers only produce pollen, no nectar. Honeybees, bumblebees, and Halictids bees are all pollinators.
Other Information: Can hybridize with other Spiderwort (Tradescantia) species. Spreads via underground rhizomes and makes an excellent ground cover. Flowers bloom in the morning and close by afternoon.
