Buzzing Biodiversity: Exploring North America’s Native Bees

Bumble Bee Atlas presents “Buzzing Biodiversity: Exploring North America’s Native Bees.”

Join Conservation Nebraska and the Xerces Society’s Invertebrate Conservation Ambassador, April LeBaron, on World Bee Day as we uncover the remarkable diversity of bees found across North America.

We’ll spend time getting to know the bees that call Nebraska home, while also highlighting other beautiful and fascinating bees from across the continent. This presentation will explore the variety of shapes, sizes, colors, and behaviors of North American bees, their importance as pollinators, and the challenges they face in a rapidly changing environment.
